CPF validation is essential to ensure that the number provided is correct and follows the standard defined by the Federal Revenue Service. Our system performs a mathematical check on the **check digit**, ensuring that the CPF is valid and was correctly generated. However, this verification **does not consult the Federal Revenue Service database**, as this access is restricted.

How Does Our CPF Validator Work?

The CPF (Cadastro de Pessoa Física) consists of **11 numerical digits**, where the last two are called **check digits**. They are calculated from the first nine numbers, following a specific mathematical algorithm.

📌 Example of a Valid CPF:

123.456.789-09 - This CPF may be mathematically valid, but it may not be registered with the Federal Revenue Service.

📌 Example of an Invalid CPF:

111.111.111-11 - This CPF is not valid because its digits do not pass the mathematical verification.
